About Us

Steel Tech was started in August of 1998 by a team of steel/metals industry veterans with a goal of providing specialty metal fabrications to the power generation industry.  The team quickly found that the semi-custom market for fabricated specialty and engineered products was in need of support.

The team formed with a focus on high quality and high reliability, providing products focused on employee and public safety.  Initially in the power generation market, moving quickly to railroad service operations and First Responder emergency vehicles.

Steel Tech's team fabricates an array of metals, but has built expertise in aluminum and stainless steel. We build many of our vehicle components with diamond plate, tread plate, GripStrut and our proprietary  BriteGrip tread and grating materials. This is in addition to traditional A-569 steel and A-304 stainless steel materials.

Over the years, the company has continued to expand its services for commercial, military, architectural/construction and municipal clients. During that time, the same values of quality, safety and reliability have continued as Steel Tech's focus.
